The “Power Production by Source” graphic herein shows a 10 year trend in power production for each state.

It reminds us of the “value of the grid” that 1) is 99.97% reliable notwithstanding this article 2)
safely and efficiently connects us to these diverse and increasingly clean sources of affordable power and 3) connects you and me for future transactive energy.

This WSJ article points out the coming electrification of our economy (like transportation and space heating) and highlights the need for more investments in a reliable and resilient grid, particularly in distribution (to include storage).

What grid solutions do you see ahead? Re-defined microgrids? More hardening and underground? Hydrogen fuel cells and storage? Super-conductors?

Let’s start a discussion in our industry.
