I was honored to be recognized as a Life Member in ASCE at the 37th Annual Engineers in Government Night given by the Palm Beach Branch of the Florida Section.
The keynote speaker was 2026 ASCE president Marsha Anderson Bomar, Ph.D., AICP, ENV SP, H.ITE, F.ASCE who spoke about the ASCE Report Card, specifically commenting on our T&D industry. (FP&L was a sponsor!)

Civil engineers are routinely the “unsung heroes” of the built environment, and today you are being singled out for your contributions to the health, safety and economy of our nation and the world. True professionals in which all people may have confidence, you have dedicated your talent, time and expertise to the advancement and betterment of people.
