Duke Energy joins FP&L in getting regulatory approval to build massive solar plants in the coming years. Solar allows Duke Energy to offer customers sustainable options for power generation and shareholders, long term value. Solar will also position utilities for the hydrogen economy of the future. FP&L and others (maybe Duke in the near future) are starting pilots on hydrogen, and solar will allow renewable energy hydro-cracking of water or natural gas.
Read about it in the Orlando Sentinel.
Congratulations to Duke. The future awaits.
